I just read some awful news today. Kate Walsh and her husband Alex Young are getting a divorce. Kate Walsh and Alex Young were engaged in May 2007, and got married on September 1st the same year. Alex petitioned for a divorce on November 22nd, and according to the court papers cited irreconcilable differences.

I have always enjoyed watching Kate act as Dr Addison Shepherd, first in Grey’s Anatomy, and then in Private Practice. Kate is beautiful, talented and such a joy to watch. Her eyes just shine with her emotions and that makes her all the more endearing. How can someone not love watching her every move?

Kate, keep your head up girl. Things may look grim now, but they will soon be better. Maybe not in a few weeks, maybe not in a few months, but one day.
