Don’t tell your spouse you will change – just do it! If you really want to stop a divorce, the first step is to take responsibility for your actions.

Would you want them to give you another chance? Then do the same for them. Treat your spouse the way you would like to be treated yourself and try to be understanding. It may be possible to patch things up; but be prepared to accept the possibility that there may be no other recourse than to dissolve the marriage.
