Does it ever seem that at the heart of human nature lies a frightening level of self-sabotage? If you’ve ever noticed the slow downward spiral that a person’s appearance usually takes when involved in a long-term relationship, then you know exactly what I’m talking about.
Remember the level of care you took of yourself when the relationship was fresh and you weren’t so overly comfortable with each other? You’d change your outfit three times just to find the perfect thing to wear out to dinner with your partner. I like to call it, relationship frumpiness.
Once we arrive at this point, almost like clockwork, many relationships come to a screeching halt. When the break up happens, we are left feeling abandoned and depressed. Then, as if to add insult to injury, we are left feeling self-conscious and completely unattractive due to our weight gain and lack of personal upkeep. So, what do we do now?
If you want to get your ex back, you’ll need to get back to that level of self-confidence, sexiness, and personal care that you were at when the relationship began. First of all, in order to get out of depression mode, immediately get back to the gym or start some type of exercise regime. A good, solid workout will not only get you back into shape, but it will also help to lift any depression or anxiety you may be feeling. Depression and exercise research has shown that a cardio workout that raises your heart rate promotes a sense of well being and boosts your confidence levels.
Once you get yourself back on track, things will start to fall into place. You’ll remember the little things that you used to do and you’ll wonder why you ever stopped. Remember the manicures and pedicures you used to get? Has it been a while since you’ve tanned, gotten a good haircut, or had your teeth whitened? You used to keep up with those little things on a regular basis. You had a sense of pride about your appearance.
The truth is, those little things that were all part of the ‘best version of yourself’ caused you to exude a confidence that attracted the opposite sex like a magnet. You really don’t have to be a supermodel. You just have to be happy with yourself. When you are, the laws of attraction are at work in your favor. If you want to get your ex back; if you want to drive your ex crazy until they feel like they can’t live without you and have no idea why they were foolish enough to ever leave you, this is your answer.
Once you get that physical and emotional overhaul and are back to the real you, there won’t be any problem getting your ex back. They won’t know what to do without you.
