How To Win Ex Back Through Logical Thinking & Rational Behaviour, NOT Emotional Outbursts & Desperate Actions
First thing is to identify the strategies that don’t work, so that we can work the other way round to solve it. These strategies do not only fail but it can make you look like weak and more like a "desperado". This will make it even harder for you to make up with your ex. There are three things under any circumstances you must not say and they are:
1. The Plead
It is notoriously used in instances such as, "Monica, you have to please, please call me back. I’ve been calling you since this morning. I seriously need to talk to you. Call me please."
2. The "Emergency"
Emergency calls such as this is so lame, "Ross, call me back, this is an emergency. We need to talk urgently."
3. The Side Step
The caller usually calls and pretends the call was for someone else, "Oh, hi Joey, I had you on speed dial. I actually wanted to call Phoebe. Well, um, call me whenever. Okay then, bye."
Sorry for using characters from "Friends". I’m such a big fan. Anyway, I’m sure you can see how wrong these calls sound. Surely you can picture the callers as being so hopeless. If the above have that effect on you, imagine how annoying this must be for your ex.
Ever heard of the expression, curiosity kills the cat? Together with self interest, they are two of the most powerful weapons of the human mind. If used correctly, you can rule the world when you know how to use both curiosity and self interest together.
Here’s how you can mix the two and make them work in your favour. In a friendly tone, I repeat, friendly, not desperate, you could say, "Hi Chandler, it’s Janice. I’m calling to let you know that I appreciate what you did for me. If you have time, call me so I can thank you in person."
It doesn’t matter if your ex hasn’t done anything big for you. We just want to pique their interest so much so that they want to call back. I know it’s a bit misleading but all is fair in love and war.
Remember before such a message, you need to reflect on the things that your ex has done for you, no matter how small those things are, as long as it makes some sense to the both of you.
PS: If somehow this still fails to get you in your ex’s good books, you can always write a second chance letter. But if you follow the advice, you should be okay.

Don’t worry though, you’re gonna learn everything there is to know about how you should go about doing this. You’re gonna find tips and advice to get you prepared for this meeting with ex. Every time you feel anxious about it, just know that your ex is as anxious as you, but unlike you, he or she might not be lucky enough to find this article, ey. {wink, wink}
First things first, you need to calm down. Get a grip and get your act together. You want your meeting with your ex to be a smooth one. It won’t help if you are nervous and edgy as it might even ruin your chance of getting back together again. So, you have to make sure that you are cool. It’s that important!
The Preparation
Now that you are armed with the reasons for the breakup, you should identify the areas that you are willing to compromise and willing to make changes. Be true to yourself. Don’t say that you can change something when you know deep down that you can’t, just for the sole purpose of getting your ex back. You’re not being fair to yourself nor your ex. You have to be realistic and honest with yourself. Committing to something you can’t deliver might lead to a disaster. Honesty is always the best policy.
The reason I suggest for you to make the list first is because sometimes it’s very hard for people to see through their own faults. Like me for example, I always think that I’m right in everything, but when I take the time to ponder (and sometimes I make a list too) I find that there were times that I was also at fault.
The Showdown
If you arrive at the meeting place first, do not go in and wait. Make sure that your ex gets there first but don’t make him or her wait for you for too long though. My rule of thumb is let your ex wait for you for about 15 seconds before you go in. This is because you would want to make a grand entrance.
It’s very important that you should be confident when you walk in. No argument here. If you’re a girl, think yourself as Angelina Jolie (or whoever you admire) and if you’re a guy, think yourself as Johnny Depp (or whoever it is you admire).
What to talk about? How to start the conversation? One thing for sure, do not bring the break up too early. Rather, be casual and talk about other stuff that connected the two of you together in the first place. If the two of you love movies, talk about the latest movies for example. If you enjoy certain food, then talk about it. You know the drill.
Once you are in a comfortable mode and you think that the time is about right, simply tell your ex that you realise how some characteristics of your personality may not be best at times. Share with your ex how you’ve been rationalising your actions and how you’ve come to the realisation that there may be some things of your doing that have caused the both of you to break up.
Now that you’re at this stage, avoid the mistakes that most people commit. Don’t promise your ex that you will change whatever necessary to get your ex back. Instead, promise to change yourself in your efforts to be a much better person. Do this for you, not for anyone else.
One of the things you need to do to get your ex back is to be critical of yourself. Yes, this can be tough, but nonetheless necessary. If you can successfully carry this out, and come out of it a better and more confident person, your meeting with your ex will not be in vain. It will definitely work in your favour in your efforts to get your ex back.

2009 is here. I took a little bit of time asking myself what have I achieved last year and what I want to achieve this year. I found out that I didn’t achieve much career wise. Since moving to a new house in March 2008 with my husband, we found out that most of our times were occupied in redecorating the house. We also spent quite a lot of money for that too. But then again, both of us don’t mind. It’s our house and an investment.
What did you achieve in 2008 and what are you planning to achieve this year? What’s your New Year’s resolution? If you want to share with us all, please do so here. I can’t wait to hear from you.
As for me, my husband and I are planning to go on a holiday sometimes in March, which happens to be our 5th year anniversary. Nothing’s confirmed yet but we are really looking forward for that as last year we didn’t go anywhere at all. Reasons? House moving and no money. Most of the money spent was for the house.
As for this blog, I’m planning for a lot more contents to be produced on relationships in general as well as in winning your ex back. So, stay tuned for all that.
I want to finish this one by wishing you a happy new year to you and I hope that this year will be better than the last. Cheer!

One such guy I know is TW Jackson who also happens to be the author of The Magic of Making Up book. In case you didn’t know it already, the book has helped thousands of people already. If getting back with your ex is all you can think about, this is a must read book and I highly recommend it. You owe it to yourself.

Question: How to correct the break up that should not have happened and get my ex back?
Answer: By not listening to the relationship experts.

This is actually my Magic of Making Up review. If you’ve been trying to search for help in getting back together with your ex on the internet for quite some time now, I’m sure you’ve come across a lot of reviews on the Magic of Making Up ebook. At first, I thought I might not want to do a review because I’m sure that you might get tired of reading all the reviews from all the different websites and blogs out there telling you how good the book is. I thought that if the book is really that good, it might speak for itself. So I thought, instead of me go on and on about the Magic of Making Up system, I think I should let you know why you don’t always have to listen to relationship experts.
Psychologists, relationship coaches, and self proclaimed ‘love gurus.’ There are a million and one voices out there telling you what to do about your current situation. If you’ve just been through a difficult break up, your emotions are raw and you are probably vulnerable to listen to anyone who will promise a quick fix for your relationship woes. Find out why that is the first thing you shouldn’t do. A wrong advice can cost you your ex.
There’s only one problem. Most of the self-proclaimed experts out there are just that - self-proclaimed. The last thing you need is relationship advice from Johnny Harvard, who just got done framing his psychology degree and now claim to have all the answers. Beware of the experts. If you really want to get your ex back, you can’t afford to waste time and money on the wrong answers.
So where are the answers, and how do you know who to trust? I’m glad you asked, because the answer is easy when you take the time to think about it. Anyone can get a degree, but as we all know, attending art school won’t turn you into the next Picasso. There is a certain ingredient that causes a person to rise to the top of their field or to become a true authority on a given subject. That ingredient is passion and nine times out of ten, a true passion for a subject comes directly from firsthand experience.
If you wanted help and encouragement in dealing with a grim cancer diagnosis, would you rather spend a week with one of the medical doctors from your local hospital or Lance Armstrong? I’m sure the doctors have a lot of good information and would give you sound, medical advice. What they probably lack though, is the ability to provide you with the emotional support and inspiration that will pull you through to the other side. The doctors, of course, have their role, but if I was looking for a door of hope for my situation, I’d go to the person with passion. Lance Armstrong went through it, he was there, he dealt with it, and he beat it. He has the passion. That’s who I want to listen to.
Again, if you are experiencing heart break and are searching for real answers that will help you to get your ex back, who do you want to listen to?
You need to listen to someone who has made the same mistakes that you are currently making; someone with firsthand experience who can help you identify the problem areas so you can solve them. Relationships don’t have to be a roller coaster of confusion. There are basic, foundational truths that are vital for the health of any relationship. There are real, identifiable reasons why your relationship took a turn for the worst. Take it from someone who has learned what the keys to a successful relationship are, and is putting them into practice. Once you have an understanding of exactly what is needed to keep your partner happy and interested, you will have the power to get the relationship you want AND the ability to KEEP it.
A lot of relationship gurus are gonna have my head for breakfast with this one. Let me make something clear, I’m not bashing the experts here. I didn’t say that you shouldn’t listen to the experts completely. BUT sometimes it’s good to hear from the non experts too. The Magic of Making Up is written by an ordinary person just like you and me. TW Jackson or T Dub doesn’t have a degree in psychology. He just has the passion and the firsthand experience. He is not a relationship expert but he had helped countless of other couples get back together.
Personally, I know T Dub a long time ago in a forum that both of us are members of. I know for a fact that he’s a very busy guy but he still makes the time to answer whatever questions that people ask. He is very sincere, honest and I 100% vouch for this guy. His Magic of Making Up is a top notch book which definitely is going to help you get your ex back. If you are still on the fence in getting The Magic of Making Up book, I highly recommend it as you have nothing to lose. One thing you’ll get from this for sure is what landed you on this blog in the first place, that is getting back in your ex’s good book. Wouldn’t you want that?
So, does the Magic of Making Up work? Just like Lance Armstrong is to cancer, T Dub is the go to guy in winning your ex back. T Dub is your Lance Armstrong. Simply because, just like Lance, TW Jackson also went through it, he was there, he dealt with it, and he beat it. He has the passion and when it comes to winning my ex back, that’s who I want to listen to. That’s who you should also be listening to.
