3 Ways to Rescue Relationship

Aug 31, 2009 Author: May | Filed under: Rescue Relationship

Is your marriage falling apart? Are you barely talking to your spouse? No matter how bad things are, there’s always hope that you can turn things around. Here are 3 simple ways to help you rescue relationship.

1. Change the way you handle arguments. All married couples argue, but not all arguments end up with one walking out the door while the other throws the china on the floor in a fit of rage. If you lash out during arguments, bite your tongue so you don’t say anything you may regret later. If you’re the type who doesn’t say anything, stop keeping all your emotions so tightly reined in. Remember, you don’t have to fight when you argue.

2. Be nice to listen to. Wives often complain their husbands space out the moment they start talking. Husbands, on the other hand, believe the world would be a better place if their wives would only stop yakking. The solution to this communication problem is actually very simple - talk in a way that makes people want to listen. A sincere and polite request gets results quicker compared to yelling, nagging, or complaining.

What you’d normally say: How could you feel right about just sitting there while your dirty clothes are all over the floor?
What you could try saying: It will really help out a lot if you put those dirty clothes in that hamper over there.

3. Change routines. After a few years, couples settle into a pattern that they find comfortable at first… and then boring at some point. The best way to rescue relationship is to put some sizzle back into your time together. Here are a few ideas.

● Go out on dates. You don’t have to use up the family fortune. You could take your spouse to a museum, the beach, or for a walk.

Keep things spicy in the bedroom. Buy new lingerie or try some toys. Experiment with a new technique, location, or position.

If your marriage is important to you, work at it. No matter how bad things have gotten between you and your spouse, there is always a way to rescue relationship.

Life would be spectacular if we fell in love with the first person we met and they fell in love with us. If our relationships were great from day one and continued that way until the day we died. Unfortunately, this only happens in fairy tales and most people will see their fair share of relationship trouble during their lives. Few people marry the first person the dated and the days of the high school quarterback marrying the cheerleader are all but gone.

Relationship trouble doesn’t mean that you are a bad person or that you have found the wrong partner. Sometimes one or the other of you aren’t communicating. Sometimes a simple lack of understanding of the partner’s background, culture, or family history can cause problems. Most relationship troubles are simply based on the fact that people aren’t communicating their needs, desires, and expectations.

If you are experiencing any of these relationship troubles, then you should seek help:

1. If you are feeling depressed, suicidal, or want to harm your partner.

2. If your partner degrades you, verbally abuses you, or hurts you in any way.

3. If you believe your partner has lied to or cheated on you.

4. If you feel your relationship is affecting your children in any way.

These are all signs of serious relationship issues and need to be dealt with. Life is too short to be put in danger, to hurt your children, or to live feeling that you are unworthy. Never continue with a relationship that makes you feel less of yourself.

Relationships can be fixed and in a short period of time, if both parties are committed to working on the issues. With simple, kind, considerate, and caring communication, a broken relationship that be fixed and happiness can be found once again.

Repair Relationship Troubles in 5 Easy Steps

Aug 25, 2009 Author: May | Filed under: Repair Relationship

People who are single look at those of us who are partnered with someone and wish they could be like us. But, they don’t know what actually goes on in a relationship. A relationship that is kind and loving in public may be sinister and cold behind closed doors.

If you find yourself in a relationship that just isn’t working for you, one that is making you more miserable than it is happy, then you owe it to yourself to try and repair relationship troubles before you walk out the door.

1. Identify what it is that you are unhappy about. Is your partner a slob? Has your partner cheated on you? Are you disrespected? Are your partner’s friends or hobby put before your desires?

2. Put yourself in your partner’s shoes. What is it that could be causing these problems? Relationship troubles are rarely one-sided, so try and figure out what it is that your partner doesn’t like about you.

3. Arrange to have a quiet discussion with your partner. Don’t do it in front of the television or the kids, and don’t do it in a public place. Do it when you are both alert, have time, and are willing to talk.

4. Identify the problems that each of you are having and do so without being accusatory.

5. Make a plan for solving the problems. Create a checklist or a partnership plan that you both agree to stick to for a fixed period of time, and then arrange your next relationship meeting to discuss the progress.

You can repair relationship problems if you treat your partnership seriously. Take a non-emotional, businesslike approach to the problems your relationship is having and make a plan to fix it. Only then can you get on with your relationship and life in a loving manner.

No relationship is perfect, despite what it may look like from the outside. Take a couple that you know, one that seems happy and perfectly matched. You don’t know what goes on behind closed doors – it could be that they spend their evenings apart or even screaming at one another. Even the most perfect relationship has problems.

At first, every relationship seems to go well. If it didn’t, you would abandon it immediately. However, as time goes on and you make a commitment to each other, you are forced to deal with problems. The guy who seemed so perfect when you were dating is not so perfect now that you are living together. The gal who cooked for you every night during the honeymoon period of your romance now barely serves up peanut butter and jelly.

Dealing with relationship issues is one of the hardest parts of being in a couple. When you want to run away and resume life alone, when you have had enough of someone who doesn’t understand you is just the time that you need to sit down and start dealing with relationship problems.

One of the keys to dealing with relationship hitches is to remember that it isn’t just about you. Each person has their own needs, their own expectations, and their own way of doing things. You may want things done now and your partner may want to take his time – and there isn’t always a right way. By coming to compromises, you may find that you can both get along together.

There is no Ozzie and Harriet, no Brady Bunch, and there is no perfect situation. Trying to turn your relationship into a perfect one is pointless. But, you can make it better by working together, expressing your dissatisfactions and expectations, and agreeing sometimes simply to disagree.

Speaking of dealing with relationship, do you know that there’s a system that takes you by the hand and show you exactly what to do and what to say to get your ex back? This system has been proven time and time again here: Download The Magic of Making Up System.

Are You in Any Unhappy Relationship?

Aug 20, 2009 Author: May | Filed under: Unhappy Relationship

If only we could all live happily ever after, like they say in the books, but most of us don’t. Relationships that start off great often end up in disaster, even most friendships don’t last forever. If you have found yourself in an unhappy relationship, what should you do?

The definition of an unhappy relationship differs from person to person. For example, is it just you who is unhappy, or are both parties unhappy? More often than not, it is just one person who is not happy with the way they are being treated. If you believe this is the case in your relationship, then you need to take it upon yourself to start healing the relationship.

The first thing you need to do to heal or change an unhappy relationship is to determine what it is that is making you unhappy. Do you not get enough attention? Are your wishes not respected? Are you treated rudely or abusively? Define what it is that is making you unhappy and then go about trying to change it.

If you aren’t given enough attention, it may be that you appear hard or stand-offish to your partner. Maybe they just don’t know that you WANT more attention! By identifying your needs and making them clear to your partner, you may well get what you want.

Sometimes a relationship that is unhappy is actually abusive and that is when you have to get out. No one deserves to be abused – physically, mentally, verbally, sexually, or otherwise – so get out as soon as you can. No relationship is worth putting up with that. Your self-esteem will suffer and you could be putting yourself in serious danger. If this happens to you, talk to your friends, talk to authorities to protect yourself, and find a way out.
